A usage report indicates the total number of uniquely named users of a Process Platform product within an organization. The number is calculated per role in the Application package. The usage report has to be sent at periodic intervals to the Process Platform License Service (which is the licensing authority) for generating invoice. The Process Platform License Service sends valid license keys to all Process Platform installations at the customer site on receipt of these usage reports.
